The Prescott Film Festival brings great independent films, guest filmmakers and free workshops to Prescott each year during its annual festival. This year, the festival is August 1-5 in beautiful downtown Prescott. Selected films, workshop schedule and ticket prices are on their website. Immediate updates can be found on their Facebook page.

The 'Tis Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency, was established for the promotion of local artists and various styles of art, to teach art and to make art economically available to the Prescott community. The 'Tis Building has two galleries that feature rotating selections of contemporary works of art by Prescott area artists. The third floor banquet hall available to rent at affordable rates. It is ideal for weddings, special event parties, educational meetings, fund raisers, workshops and performances.

The Prescott Jazz Summit is in its eleventh year as a successful jazz festival, with strong ties to the music education community. They book well-known jazz musicians from across the country. Formed in 2003, The Elks Opera House Foundation worked for seven years for funds to restore the theater. Having accomplished that in July 2010, the Foundation has launched Capital Campaign B, the purpose of which is to purchase the Elks Building in which the opera house resides.  In addition to fund raising, the Foundation produces an anniversary event each February and selectively co-produces events through a special programming fund. The Guild, an organization of men and women, preserves, promotes, and supports The Elks Opera House through fund-raising activities, front-of-house duties, and public promotion. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Public Charity.

The Prescott Jazz Society was incorporated in 1994 as a non-profit membership organization. The Society was developed as the professional entertainment component to the edu-tainment program of the Cannon Academy of Performing Art which was founded in 1993. Beginning in November 1993, the continuous programs and events presented by the Prescott - Cannon organizations were able to initiate the birth of a jazz culture in the Prescott, AZ area.
