The Mountain Artists Guild was founded in 1949 by 25 Prescott artists. Membership currently exceeds 300. MAG provides an opportunity for members to expand their skills and creativity in a supportive environment and to volunteer their talents to help the organization. The Mountain Artists Guildis a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion of the visual arts and crafts; the encouragement and education of artists and artisans through workshops and seminars, exhibits, scholarships, and fellowship; and the provision of a forum for art-related community events.
