Since 2000, The Prescott Jazz Summit performs at a three day jazz festival in various downtown Prescott venues the weekend before Labor Day featuring acclaimed "main stream" Jazz musicians from around the country and including a big band concert. The Jazz Summit has strong ties to the music education communities by conducting jazz workshops and providing musical groups for assembly presentations in local schools. The Prescott Jazz Summit also presents jazz music concerts year-round and performs a summer series at the Highlands Center for Natural History and at Courthouse Plaza with free concerts.
