This event starts at the Granite Dells Trailhead at 9:00 AM. We ride through the Prescott Dells along the Peavine Trail, we pass Watson Lake, ride through the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribal Land. We will ride through the VA Hospital at 1:00 PM carrying all the military flags and singing the National Anthem. The all-horse parade starts on the backside of Yavapai College at 2:10 PM, we arrive on Whiskey Row at 2:30 PM. This year we will have Goodwin St. closed and 30 to 40 of our riders will tie their horses up for the public to come see. There will be several vendors doing demonstration, there will be a Blacksmith, Ferrier (horse shoeing), Cowboy Cook. There will be a few cowboys teaching kids and parents how to rope cattle and there will be a few 1880’s Prescott Regulators re-enacting the Old West style hoot outs. There will be 2 horse rescue organizations, EEE (Equine Emergency Evacuation) and LASER (Large Animal Shelters & Emergency Readiness. And don’t food, the Hungry Badger food trailer will be serving their very tasty food. Try there Buffalo Burger!
