Summer - Beat the heat and enjoy a breath of fresh mountain air with events that include the Prescott Bluegrass Festival, Tsunami on the Square, Prescott Frontier Days and The World’s Oldest Rodeo.

Fall - Yes, there actually is autumn in Arizona! Watch the leaves change in a riot of color as you enjoy events such as the Yavapai County Fair, Pumpkin Festivals, Prescott Ghost Talk and the Prescott Film Festival.

Winter - The brisk winter air draws you indoors to museums, galleries and antique shops. Prescott is known as Arizona’s Christmas City, and events including the annual Courthouse Lighting Ceremony, Frontier Open House and Acker Music Festival help cement that notion.

A special art show where poetry and prose merge with fine art. Opening Reception is Friday February 24 with wine and light appetizers from 5-7 pm (in conjunction with Prescott’s 4th Friday Art Walk).

Last year's Piece and Poem was so fabulous that the curators had to bring it back for 2012. Common with other 'Tis Art Center special shows, the artists have been encouraged to think out side their usual box.

For this show, viewers are invited to interact with work where an artist's own poetry and prose (or that of a favorite published author) is part of a painting, sculpture, turned wood object and/or ceramic, wearable art or jewelry piece. The end result is... well, one just has to experience it.
