Start in Prescott and take Hwy. 89-A to Jerome This drive has been voted one of Arizona's most scenic Routes by Fodor's Travel Guide. Continue on Hwy. 89A to the majestic red rocks of Sedona. Off Road Adventures
Prescott's back roads provide a nostalgic trip back in time. The Highway 89A drive from Prescott to Sedona has been voted by Fodor's, as one of America's most scenic drives. On the way you will pass through the historic ghost town of Jerome, the turnoff to Montezuma's Well and to the Tuzigoot National Monument. Along Hwy. 89 heading toward Chino Valley, you will see historic sites such as Del Rio Springs, Sullivan Lake, Limestone Canyon, Cedar Glades Cemetery, Drake, or Jerome Junction. Other interesting sites you might encounter along Prescott's back roads include abandoned mining sites and historic ranches.
