Nestled in a bowl shaped valley in the Bradshaw Mountains, Prescott is the perfect place for your Outdoor Adventure.
Founded in 1864 along the banks of Granite Creek, Prescott was the Arizona Territory’s first Capitol. Now, no longer the State Capitol, it is without a doubt the Capitol of fun and exciting outdoor recreation.
Within just a few minutes drive, you can find big open praries, huge granite boulder formations, large stands of old oak trees, lakes, creeks, 7000′ mountains, giant ponderosa pine trees, and aspen groves.
The weather can be cold enough to freeze a running creek, or hot enough (almost) to make a camel search for shade!
