Annual Events

From 1888, when the first of the World’s Oldest Rodeos began to now, there are many annual events to enjoy, all rich in history and iconic Prescott traditions. The World’s Oldest Rodeo and the Prescott Frontier Days activities take place late June to early July. The famous Whiskey Row Marathon occurs each autumn. From Bluegrass festivals to luxury car shows, Prescott has something for everyone to enjoy. You can catch a variety of arts and crafts fairs on the Yavapai County Courthouse Plaza every spring and summer.

From Thanksgiving to Martin Luther King Day, Prescott celebrates a variety of festivities that make up Arizona’s Christmas City. These include the Holiday Light Parade, the Annual Christmas Parade, Acker Night Musical Showcase, and the annual lighting of the Yavapai County Courthouse Plaza. Closing out each year is the best downtown street party - the Whiskey Row Bootdrop.
