There are five lakes within 20 minutes of Prescott, and you’ll be hooked after fishing in any of them!
Several of these lakes are stocked by the Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD), providing several species of trout, largemouth bass, channel and bullhead catfish, black crappie and blue gill. AZGFD is now stocking Gila trout in Goldwater Lake. Gila trout is a rare species found only in Arizona and New Mexico.
